    How to get there:
    13 km from Cape Town to Sunset Beach From Central Cape Town take the N1. Take the R27 Marine Drive turnoff. Follow Marine Drive for 9km. Turn left into Ocean Way. Turn right into Bay Beach Avenue. Turn left into Forato Drive.

    Best Months:
    December to April.

    Conditions:
    Generally, the wind is stronger at Sunset than at Bloubergstrand. If you get here and the place is completely blown out, you might be well advised to head to Big Bay or Dolphin Beach, where you could have a far more relaxed session. This spot can get very gusty on a SE close to the shore. It is best to start your downwinder from this point and head off to Dolphin Beach or Doodles Beach.

    In the car park or on the beach.

    There are no ablutions available. Watch out for car thieves.
